Anyone with Dementia
The workshop will explore who LGBTI people are, their lived experience and discrimination. It will cover the decades of history, LGBTI people in the context of dementia, and identify inclusive dementia and aged care services.
This workshop will assist participants to gain an awareness and understanding of Younger Onset Dementia (prevalence, statistics, symptoms and diagnosis), why the human rights, dignity and enablement of risk is important for a person living with younger onset dementia and many more YOD related topics.
This workshop aims to raise awareness about older people from CALD backgrounds with dementia in Australia, and their service use.
