DTA is governed and managed through the following structure.
Strategic and administrative oversight of DTA is provided by the DTA Executive Group, with input from two advisory groups:
Expert Reference Group (ERG)
Comprising individuals selected by the DTA Executive Group for their specific expertise in the development of services for people living with dementia, the role of the ERG is to inform the design and delivery of DTA training, services and programs.
Essential Collaborators Network (ECN)
The ECN formalises DTA’s strong network of existing relationships. The ECN comprises representatives from the Department of Health, Dementia Behaviour Management Advisory Service (DBMAS), Severe Behaviour Response Team (SBRT), Australian Aged Care Quality Agency (AACQA), Dementia Collaborative Research Centres (DCRC) and the NHMRC National Institute for Dementia Research (NNIDR).
